Q: Who can register with SACE?

A: Educators, such as:

  • Public schools who employees educators in terms of the Employment of Educators Act of 1998 and the South African Schools Act of 1996).
  • Registered independent schools.
  • Further Education and Training Institutions in terms of the FET Act of 1998
  • Adult learning centers (ABET).
  • Education Centers Waldorf and Montessori
  • ECD educators employed in public/independent schools in Grade R, with a minimum NQF level 4 ECD qualification.
  • Foreign educators who are registered as per SACE

Q: Why is it important for educators to register with SACE?
